Yoga Nidra is a combination of relaxation, breath awareness, visualization and intention that work together to integrate the body, mind, heart, and soul. It’s known as ‘yogic sleep’. Yoga Nidra meditation guides you to shut down everything (like when napping) except your awareness. Simply put, it’s is conscious relaxation.
Please bring a yoga mat or blanket and anything else to make you as comfortable lying down, or sitting in a chair, as possible. Sometimes a neck pillow or travel pillow is helpful.
