Girls Running Group

Zoe bartz

Zoe Bartz is in 9th grade at Greendale High School. Something that is really important to her is Mental Health, specifically self-esteem and how people view themselves. For her project she, and others, will create a Cinco Di Mayo Fiesta on May 5. There will be Tortilla making demonstrations, fresh tortillas for sale, quesadillas for purchase and margaritas (non-alcoholic) for consumption. All of this will be done to raise money for “Girls on the Run” an organization that works with girls in 4-10 grades. She will need help from 5 -10 people in the congregation. CLICK HERE to sign up!

Sam bevirt

milwaukee homeless veterans initiative

Sam BeVirt is in 8th grade at Greendale Middle School and something that is really important to him is Homeless Veterans. So he is hosting a Pancake Breakfast to raise money for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative. His goal is to not only raise money, but also awareness about Homeless Veterans in our country. Sam will need 5 people from the congregation to help him with the pancake breakfast on April 14. CLICK HERE to sign up!

blessed bonds

Trinity Christenson is a 9th grader at Greendale High School. Something that is really important to her is keeping the bonds between people and support animals. Her project will be a brownie sale which will also coincide with the Cinco Di Mayo celebration on May 5. The funds raised will go to Blessed Bonds. Blessed Bonds provides temporary crisis foster care devoted to reuniting families with their animal companions.. Trinity will need 6 people from the congregation to help her bake, as well as numerous people to buy and eat brownies. Once we have enough people we will let everyone know details on a date and time.
