About The Event
As the days become shorter and the air begins to cool down, it is a natural time to turn inward and to seek quiet and calm before the busy time of the holidays begin. Join community herbalist Wendy Lehman to learn about medicinal plants that provide nourishment; turn down agitation, restlessness, and tension during the day; and prepare us for rest and sleep. Herbs can calm a racing and spinning mind before meditation and sleep, settle a nervous stomach, help us to broaden our focus and see what’s around us, get out of our heads and into our bodies, and dial down our nervous systems to prepare us for sleep. You’ll learn about medicinal plants and different ways you can introduce them into your lives.
