Second Harvest Retreat

In ancient times people celebrated 3 harvests. The first was around August 1st to celebrate the first fruits and grains of the season. The second was on the Autumn Equinox, celebrating the balancing of the seasons. The final was on what we call Halloween today. It was the final harvest before the earth goes to sleep for the winter. During these celebrations, people gave thanks for their crops, animals, and food.  Join us to celebrate a very special harvest: the gifts, blessings, good health, family, friends, pets, sunshine, laughter, moments of joy, rainbows, the opportunities you have been given and so much more. The day will unfold with a morning meditation followed by a discussion about the importance of the practice of gratitude, including the health benefits of a gratitude practice.
