About The Event
The celebration of Midsummer's Eve (St. John's Eve among Christians) was from ancient times a festival of the summer solstice, of plants maturing and blooming of longer days and the promise of growth. Summer can also be a reflection of our inner life: our internal summer of light and growth. We need these 2 ingredients for our spiritual growth – summer reminds us of that each year. When we are “in the light” we are moved by an energy that assures us of our self-worth and our potential for growth no matter what our age.
