Star Meditation

When Joni Mitchell sand "We are stardust," at Woodstock, she was right. According to Carl Sagen, “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff.” A star also symbolizes hope, inspiration, imagination, wonder, dreams, and even, for some, divine guidance. In ancient times, the night sky was called the canopy of the heavens. The star plays an important role in the story of Jesus’ birth, Today’s meditation we will become one with the stars, to become a Being of Light.
