About The Event
The word sacred comes from the Old French sacrer "consecrate, anoint, dedicate" (12th century) or directly from Latin sacrare "to make sacred, consecrate; hold sacred; immortalize; set apart, dedicate.” We will learn how pause, intentionally stopping, suspending our frenetic activity, the constant racing thoughts, the overflowing feelings of stress. We will learn how herbal medicine can support our efforts at slowing down, from spending time in nature to taking herbal medicine through teas and herbal tinctures. You'll learn about specific herbs that can support you in slowing down spiraling thoughts, becoming present, and centering your mind and body. Together we will create a dedicated space to discover what it means to live in the present moment, to find the tiny miracles, joys and blessings that are Divinely woven into the tapestry of each second of every day.
